Product Warranty

Osmotech (Pty) Ltd provides a 12-month limited warranty for all our products, covering defects in materials and manufacturer workmanship. The warranty period starts on the date of purchase and not on the date of installation, first time of use and/or delivery. It excludes coverage for issues arising from misuse, neglect, improper installation, insufficient maintenance, or unauthorized modifications.

The following are not covered under this warranty:

  • Improper use or operation outside the product’s intended applications as recommended by Osmotech (Pty) Ltd.
  • Movable parts such as faucets, pumps, valves, and switches, are not covered under this warranty unless they are proven to have a manufacturing defect.
  • Consumable parts such as replacement filter cartridges, filter medium, reverse osmosis membranes, ultra filtration membranes, refillable cartridges, o-rings.
  • Electrical parts including UV bulbs, transformers, and ballasts, are not covered by this warranty. It is recommended to use a surge protector and install UV ballasts in a waterproof enclosure to protect against environmental factors and extend their lifespan.
  • Electrical component damage caused by power surges, exposure to water, or other external electrical problems.
  • Damage from freezing or exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light, unless the product is specifically designed for such conditions.
  • Environmental damage resulting from outdoor installation or exposure to harsh elements without proper protection.
  • Corrosion and/or rust of steel parts installed in coastal or high-salinity environments without adequate protection.
  • Repairs or modifications performed by unauthorized individuals or services.
  • Damage due to insufficient maintenance or failure to adhere to the maintenance schedule provided in the product information page on our website and/or product manual. 
  • Damage resulting from the use of unapproved chemicals and/or cleaning products not designed for use with the product.
  • Damage from water pressure or flow rates exceeding the specified limits of the product.
