Darlly BHF Series High-Flow Pleated Filter Cartridges

The Darlley BHF Series is a high-flow pleated filter cartridge engineered for domestic, commercial and industrial water filter applications. Designed as a drop-in replacement filter for traditional sediment filters.

The Darlley BHF Series of pleated filter cartridges, offer filtration using Polypropylene media for efficient removal of suspended sediments particles and certain microorganisms (depending on the micron rating). The filter media has a uniform pore distribution for consistent, reliable filtration performance across its entire surface.

The Darlley BHF Series pleated filter cartridge high-surface-area design allow very high flow rates at minimal pressure loss. This cartridge can handle substantial throughput, making it ideal for high-demand applications while maintaining low differential pressure.

Built for demanding applications, the cartridge withstands up to 4 bar (58 psi) differential pressure at 20 °C and around 2 bar (29 psi) at 80 °C. The rigid polypropylene core and cage prevent collapse under pressure. The filter is recommended for replacement at a 2.2 bar (32 psi) pressure drop to maintain optimal flow and efficiency. Maximum operating temperature is 80 °C, suitable for most ambient and warm water processes.

The DOE (Double Open End) flat end-cap design with silicone gaskets means this cartridge fits directly into any standard filter housing without modification. It’s a plug-and-play upgrade – simply replace your old depth filter (melt-blown, spun, or string-wound) with this high-performance pleated cartridge to improve output and reduce filtration costs.

All materials are FDA-Compliant for food and drinking water contact (per 21 CFR Regulations) and meet EU 10/2011 Requirements for Food Safety. This makes the Darlley BHF Series safe for use in potable water systems and food and beverage production. The cartridges are manufactured in a cleanroom environment under an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Quality Management System, ensuring consistent quality and traceability.
