Description
800GPD Smart Reverse Osmosis System
The 800GPD 5 Stage Smart Reverse Osmosis System with LED UV and Pump is a high-capacity, direct-flow drinking water purification system designed for larger households, offices and other high-demand point-of-use applications.
The system produces purified water directly from the dedicated RO faucet without requiring a conventional water storage tank. An integrated booster pump, intelligent automatic controls, an 800GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane and a final LED UV Disinfection stage provide fast and reliable water purification.
Maximum Rated Purification Capacity:
- 800 Gallons Per Day
- Approximately 3,028 Liters Per Day
- Up to approximately 126 Liters Per Hour
- Up to approximately 2.1 Liters Per Minute
Purification capacity is based on standard membrane test conditions. Actual production will depend on the feed water pressure, water temperature, TDS level, incoming water quality and condition of the filters and membrane.
| Typical Rejection Characteristics of Reverse Osmosis Membranes | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Arsenic – 92-96% Barium – 95-98% Cadmium – 95-98% Calcium – 94-98% Chloride – 85-92% |
Cyanide – 84-92% Fluoride – 84-92% Iron – 94-98% Lead – 95-98% Manganese – 94-98% |
Magnesium – 94-98% Mercury – 95-98% Nickel – 96-98% Nitrate – 60-75% Phosphate – 96-98% |
Potassium – 85-95% Selenium – 94-96% Sodium – 85-94% Sulfate – 96-98% Zinc – 96-98% |
Some Advantages of using Reverse Osmosis:
- Friendly to the environment.
- Filtration is fully automated.
- Produces great purified water taste and is effective and safe.
- Helps remove harmful bacteria and viruses in your municipal and borehole water systems up to 99.8%.
- Removes dissolved minerals and other contaminants that cause water to smell unpleasant, taste poor and take on unusual colors.
- Removal of dissolved minerals, metals and other particles benefits plumbing systems (There is nothing in the water to corrode pipes or collect as sediment).
Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems Differ in Three Basic Ways:
There are many different Reverse Osmosis systems on the market; while one system may look like the next in terms of the design and components, there can be substantial differences between systems.
- Number of stages or filters.
- Amount of water that can be filtered or produced each day (this amount is in “GPD” or gallons per day).
- Quality of their components.
5 Stage Purification Process
Stage 1: PP Melt-Blown Sediment Filter
Reduces suspended particles such as sand, rust, silt and other visible sediment. This stage protects the carbon filter, RO membrane and internal components against premature blockage.
Stage 2: CTO Carbon Block Filter
Reduces chlorine, unpleasant tastes, odors and selected organic compounds. Removing chlorine is essential for protecting the reverse osmosis membrane against chemical damage.
Stage 3: 800GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane
The high-capacity RO membrane reduces total dissolved solids and a broad range of dissolved contaminants, including salts, scale-forming minerals, selected heavy metals, nitrates and other impurities.
Stage 4: T33 Post Carbon Filter
Provides final taste and odor polishing after the reverse osmosis membrane, improving the taste of the purified drinking water.
Stage 5: LED UV Disinfection
The integrated LED UV provides a final disinfection stage to help control microorganisms that may remain in the purified water.
The LED UV is a final polishing and disinfection stage. It does not replace the need for suitable feed-water treatment or the correct maintenance of the filters and RO membrane.
Important Feed Water Information
This system is designed primarily for treated municipal water.
Borehole, well, rainwater, river water or other untreated water sources must be tested by a SANAS-accredited water laboratory before the system is selected or installed. Depending on the water analysis, additional pre-treatment may be required for Sediment, Hardness, Iron, Manganese, Microbiological contamination or other contaminants.
Hard water, elevated TDS, high sediment levels, excessive chlorine and other poor feed water conditions can reduce purified water production and shorten the service life of the filters, membrane, pump and LED UV components.
Important Usage Limitations
- This is a point-of-use drinking water purification system.
- It is not designed as a whole-house or point-of-entry water purification system.
- It is not suitable for supplying the complete water demand of a property.
- It is not an industrial reverse osmosis system.
- The integrated diaphragm booster pump is not intended for uninterrupted continuous duty operation.
- The maximum 800GPD rating is a membrane production rating under standard test conditions and must not be interpreted as a recommended continuous daily operating duty.
- Using the system for continuous commercial production, water bottling, or industrial applications may damage the pump and power adaptor and may void the applicable product warranty.
- Actual purified water production may be lower than the maximum rated capacity.
