Big Blue water filters work as point-of-entry (POE) systems, meaning they filter water as it enters a home’s plumbing system. This type of treatment provides chemical free filtered water to every faucet and water source in the house. Filtering water through a whole house water filter eliminates the risks of showering in contaminated water.

Ensure your water stays clean, fresh, and safe with routine filter maintenance. Big Blue Systems requires scheduled filter changes to maintain optimal performance and water quality.

The filter service interval will depend on the feed water quality and the total daily usage of the filter unit.

Big Blue Filters will need to be replaced every 6 months to 12 depending on the type of filter, your feed water quality and water usage volume.

As a general guideline, it is recommended to change the filters every 6 months.
