* 600GPD Reverse Osmosis Systems are not available in non-pump units due to the constant high pressure requirements on the 600GPD Membrane.

* Domestic RO Pump units have a diaphragm pump that is NOT a continuous-use pump, running the unit for long periods of time will cause damage to the pump and power adaptor. Using the unit for any purpose other than domestic use will void the warranty.

* Domestic RO Pump Units are not designed to be use for point of entry filtration unit for home water supply!

Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Systems Are Easy To Maintain, And Upkeep Costs Are Minimal.

Ensure your water stays clean, fresh, and safe with routine filter maintenance. Domestic Reverse Osmosis Purification Systems require scheduled filter changes to maintain optimal performance and water quality.

The filter service interval will depend on the feed water quality and the total daily usage of the filter unit.

Regular replacement of Reverse Osmosis Filters is essential to prevent membrane fouling, protect system components and to ensure safe and great-tasting water quality.

Filter Replacement Guide for a 5 Stage 600GPD Domestic Reverse Osmosis Purification Unit

The filter service interval will depend on the feed water quality and the total daily usage of the filter unit.

As a general guideline, it is recommended to change the filters every 6 months.

Stage 1 – 5mic PP Filter – Average every 6 months

Stage 2 – GAC Filter – Average every 6 months

Stage 3 – CTO Filter – Average every 6 months

Stage 4 – RO Membrane – Average every 2 – 3 years

Stage 5 – Post Carbon Filter – Every 12 months

* Filter and membrane replacement intervals cannot be guaranteed. Actual service life depends on the incoming water quality, total water consumption, operating pressure, water temperature and maintenance of the system.

* Filters may require earlier replacement when there is a noticeable reduction in purified water flow, deterioration in taste or odor, an increase in purified water TDS.

Description

Domestic Reverse Osmosis Purification Systems
If you’re looking for a water filter that will provide outstanding drinking water for your home or small business, then the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Purification System is one of the most popular and best water filtration methods available and is one of the most complete under the counter system on the market. The Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System will most definitely become your most favorite kitchen appliance. No other solution offers the same healthy benefits like clean fresh water that you will get from your Reverse Osmosis Water System, you can be rest assured that your drinking water is clean, clear and healthy.

The system eliminates up to 99.8% of harmful contaminants in water such as bacteria, viruses, arsenic, radium, lead and chlorine thanks to the multi-stage filtration technology. In simple terms, Reverse Osmosis works as water is forced across a semi-permeable membrane, leaving contaminants behind that are flushed down the drain. The clean drinking water collects in a holding tank.

The Reverse Osmosis Membranes used in our systems offers you one of the highest contaminant removal rates, enabling the system to produce the cleanest and clearest water possible. With the mere press of a level, you can enjoy an endless supply of the most refreshing and cleanest water in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Some Advantages of using Reverse Osmosis:

  • Friendly to the environment.
  • Filtration is fully automated.
  • Produces great purified water taste and is effective and safe.
  • Helps remove harmful bacteria and viruses in your municipal and borehole water systems up to 99.8%.
  • Removes dissolved minerals and other contaminants that cause water to smell unpleasant, taste poor and take on unusual colors.
  • Removal of dissolved minerals, metals and other particles benefits plumbing systems (There is nothing in the water to corrode pipes or collect as sediment).

Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems Differ in Three Basic Ways:

There are many different Reverse Osmosis Systems on the market, while one system may look like the next in terms of the design and components, there can be substantial differences between systems.

    • Number of stages or filters.
    • Amount of water that can be filtered or produced each day (this amount is in “gpd” or gallons per day).
    • Quality of their components.

Suitable Applications

The 600GPD Reverse Osmosis System is suitable for:

  • Larger households with higher drinking water requirements.
  • Domestic kitchens requiring faster purified water production.
  • Offices and staff kitchens.
  • Small hospitality or catering kitchens with intermittent drinking water demand.
  • Other high demand, single point-of-use drinking water applications.
  • Important Feed Water Information

This system is designed primarily for treated municipal water.

Borehole, well, rainwater, river water or other untreated water sources must be tested by a SANAS accredited water laboratory before the system is selected or installed. Depending on the water analysis, additional pre-treatment may be required for Sediment, Hardness, Iron, Manganese, Microbiological contamination or other contaminants.

Hard water, elevated TDS, high sediment levels, excessive chlorine and other poor feed water conditions can reduce purified water production and shorten the service life of the filters, membrane, pump and UV components.

Important Usage Limitations

  • This is a point-of-use drinking water purification system.
  • It is not designed as a whole house or point-of-entry water purification system.
  • It is not suitable for supplying the complete water demand of a property.
  • It is not an industrial reverse osmosis system.
  • The integrated diaphragm booster pump is not intended for uninterrupted continuous duty operation.
  • The maximum 400GPD rating is a membrane production rating under standard test conditions and must not be interpreted as a recommended continuous daily operating duty.
  • Using the system for continuous commercial production, water bottling or industrial applications may damage the pump and power adaptor and may void the applicable product warranty.
  • Actual purified water production may be lower than the maximum rated capacity.
